Founded in 2016, the Undergraduate Mock Trial Association (UMTA) at the University of Windsor is a student-run organization dedicated to developing legal advocacy, public speaking, and critical thinking skills through competitive mock trial. Since its inception, UMTA has grown from a small group of aspiring legal minds to a nationally recognized team, competing in tournaments across Canada against top-tier universities.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration, professionalism, and experiential learning, UMTA gives students an unmatched opportunity to simulate real courtroom trials and prepare for future careers in law and beyond.
